The Role
A hands-on role for someone who is analytical, adaptable and keen to learn, working across research, data and technology. You'll support the team across research, data management, analysis, visualisation and digital product development.
We're looking for strong aptitude, a positive attitude and the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting databases, data pipelines and the preparation and cleaning of data.
- Conducting desk research, surveys and qualitative interviews.
- Analysing quantitative and qualitative information to identify trends and insights.
- Creating charts, visualisations and written analysis for reports and presentations.
- Supporting digital product development, including QA, bug tracking and liaising with IT developers.
- Updating website content and digital platforms.
- Supporting senior team members with research, analysis and presentations.
- Using AI and automation tools to improve research and workflows.
About You
We're looking for someone who is sharp, confident and adaptable, with a methodical approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in learning.
You'll ideally have:
- A strong degree demonstrating analytical thinking and written communication, e.g. Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences or a related subject.
- Some professional, internship, project or university experience demonstrating analytical and research capability. Around one year's professional experience would be ideal.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiarity with Python or another scripting language for data processing or automation.
- Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative information.
- An active interest in Generative AI and using technology to improve workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable: SQL or relational databases, data pipelines, data visualisation, project management, CMS/web publishing, AI applications or agents, and an interest in business, finance, legal technology or geopolitics.
