Location: Zürich, Switzerland
Reports to: Director & Head of Zürich
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30–17:30, Friday 08:30–16:30 on a fortnightly basis, with flexibility around working hours

Tiger Recruitment was founded in 2001 and specialise in placing high calibre support staff. We recruit across all industry sectors and for clients looking to fill permanent, temporary, fixed term contract and virtual vacancies. Our clients range from FTSE 100's, Financial Services, Technology and Property to Creative, Charitable Organisations, Family Offices and Private Households. We recruit throughout London as well as nationally and internationally (Europe, Dubai and the U.S). We have offices in London’s West End, City of London, Zurich, Dubai and New York.
Tiger specialises across five divisions - Business Support, HR, Technology, Finance and Accounting, and Private - Family Office recruitment.

The Role
- As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in the continued growth of Tiger Recruitment's Swiss business. You will be responsible for managing and developing existing client relationships, winning new business, sourcing and placing exceptional candidates, and contributing to the wider success of the team.
- This is a senior position requiring a commercially minded recruiter who is confident managing clients, influencing hiring decisions and operating independently while also contributing positively to the wider team.
Candidate Care & Generation
- Write and advertise high-quality vacancies, attracting exceptional candidates to Tiger Recruitment.
- Conduct thorough candidate interviews, fact-finding and qualification meetings, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Maintain regular contact with candidates and develop a strong network of referrals and recommendations.
- Utilise database and Boolean search techniques effectively to identify high-calibre candidates.
- Build and maintain an active, relevant candidate network across your specialist market.
- Provide candidates with expert market insight, interview preparation and career advice.
Business Development
- Develop and expand existing client relationships across the Swiss market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your specialist sector.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Achieve agreed KPIs and business development targets.
- Develop a strong understanding of your market, competitors, clients and candidate landscape.
- Represent Tiger Recruitment professionally at networking events, industry meetings and other relevant opportunities.
Client Service & Market Expertise
- Consistently deliver an exceptional level of service to clients.
- Develop long-term, consultative relationships and identify opportunities to grow accounts.
- Provide clients with relevant market intelligence, salary benchmarking and recruitment advice.
- Consult with and influence clients throughout the hiring process to establish yourself as a trusted recruitment partner.
- Manage expectations effectively and ensure a high level of communication throughout each assignment.
- Understand Swiss recruitment practices, market conditions and relevant employment considerations.
Recruitment Delivery & Billings
- Utilise candidate knowledge, networking and database resources to deliver high-quality shortlists.
- Manage the recruitment process from initial briefing through to successful placement.
- Prepare candidates thoroughly for interviews and provide coaching where appropriate.
- Conduct detailed interview debriefs and maintain an understanding of candidates' wider career activity.
- Manage offers effectively, providing guidance around negotiations, counter-offers and resignation processes.
- Build a consistent pipeline of vacancies, candidates and placements.
- Take ownership of individual monthly and annual billing targets.
- Maintain a strong and consistent level of billings, with a target of CHF 250,000+ over a rolling 12-month period.
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate, client and placement records.
- Ensure all recruitment administration is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage relevant client portals and recruitment systems.
- Draft job specifications and recruitment documentation for clients where required.
- Ensure all activity is conducted in accordance with company procedures and applicable Swiss recruitment and employment requirements.
Company Innovation
- Contribute ideas around marketing, technology, PR, events and business development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve the way we work and enhance the Tiger Recruitment brand in Switzerland.
- Support the continued growth and development of the Swiss office and wider European business.
Positive Team Player
- Work transparently, ethically and professionally at all times, representing Tiger Recruitment positively.
- Build strong internal relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Support the Head of Division and wider management team where required.
- Mentor and support junior Recruitment Consultants, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Lead by example and act as a senior member of the Swiss team.
- Offer ideas, support and commercial insight wherever you can add value.
- Contribute to a positive, ambitious and high-performing office culture.
- Deliver a minimum of CHF 250,000 in billings over a rolling 12-month period.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven recruitment experience, ideally within a specialist or professional services environment.
- Demonstrable track record of business development, client management and successful placements.
- Previous sales, account management or consultative business development experience.
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of revenue, targets and profitability.
- Confident working independently and managing your own desk and client relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, professional and composed.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Positive, energetic and resilient approach.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
- Fluent English required; German and/or French would be advantageous depending on market focus.
- Existing knowledge of the Swiss recruitment market would be highly advantageous.
