My client is seeking an immediately available EA with previous experience supporting at CEO level who can take on a busy role, working for a growing Fin-Tech firm in the West End. This role is office based, however there can be someone flexibility to work from home on occasion.
The EA will be supporting the CEO across core business needs as well as assisting with their wider portfolio. This is a broad and varied role, requiring a highly organised and commercially aware candidate who is able to confidently operate within a dynamic environment, requiring a high level of discretion. The successful candidate will act as a trusted right-hand to the CEO and be able to manage competing priorities as efficiently as possible. There may be some out of hours support required on occasion.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the CEO’s complex business and personal diary and calendar arrangements
- Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel arrangements, preparing detailed itineraries as requested
- Work closely with the wider executive team to prioritise effectively
- Coordinate senior-level meetings, including the preparation of agendas, documentation, presentations and follow-up actions and minutes
- Liaise confidently with investors, senior stakeholders and other external contacts, acting as a professional point of contact on behalf of the CEO
- Work alongside the SLT to coordinate company-wide meetings and internal communications
- Welcome visitors and ensure meeting rooms, catering and other arrangements are organised to a consistent high standard
- Help to support the smooth running of the London office, working collaboratively with the wider management team across office administration and facilities
- Assist with wider business projects and initiatives, including strengthening company culture, internal celebrations, events, engagement and employee experience
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience supporting a CEO within a professional environment
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ever changing and demanding environments where priorities can change quickly and flexibility is essential
- Highly organised with great attention to detail and a confident ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
- Professional when dealing with senior stakeholders, investors and external partners whilst maintaining discretion
- Experience within a start-up, scale-up, fintech, technology or similarly fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Calm when under pressure and always has a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Flexible and willing to accommodate occasional out-of-hours requirements when necessary
- A genuine team player with a positive, can-do attitude and the confidence to operate with autonomy
