Location: Remote, with optional access to co-working spaces in Central London
Salary: £25 per hour + holiday pay
Job type: Temporary, full-time

Our client is a boutique international strategic communications and political consultancy looking for a temporary Executive Assistant to support its Founding Director through a busy autumn period. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EA who thrives in a fast-paced, close-knit environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work. The team currently operates on a largely remote basis, so you will need to be comfortable managing your own home working setup, with the option to use shared co-working spaces in London if preferred.
Day to day:
- Manage a complex, multi-time-zone diary for the Founding Director, coordinating internal and external meetings and preparing briefing materials in advance
- Run a short daily diary catch-up to align on priorities, chasing up actions with colleagues and external contacts afterwards
- Compile a daily overview of key reading and outstanding tasks, plus a weekend round-up, and keep on top of actions arising from meetings and correspondence using tools such as Monday.com
- Organise and minute meetings involving the Founding Director, covering areas such as new business, HR, leadership and finance
- Take ownership of the Founding Director's inbox, triaging and flagging priority messages and drafting responses where appropriate
- Book domestic and international travel, accommodation and transport for the Founding Director and wider team
- Draft correspondence and presentation materials on the Founding Director's behalf
- Provide broader administrative support, including liaising with the external finance function on receipts and invoices, coordinating team meetings, managing a general enquiries inbox, and arranging post, couriers and deliveries
- Step in to support the Business Operations Director, senior team members or client teams as needed
Who you are:
- At least 2+ years’ experience handling complex diary management across multiple time zones
- Background in PR, Strategic Communications & Politics highly desirable
- A high degree of professionalism, discretion and reliability
- Excellent organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working independently
- Strong written and numerical skills
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 tools & Monday.com
- Enthusiasm for joining a small, growing organisation
- An interest in international affairs or politics
- Right to work in the UK
