Job Title: Private Chef
Location: Central Hong Kong
Position: Full-time, Permanent, Live-out

Salary: HK$700,000–$900,000 p/a

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Chef to join a private household in Central Hong Kong, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the Principal and his wife.

This is a full-time, live-out position requiring flexibility, as working hours and days off will depend on the Principal’s schedule, including weekends.

The ideal Chef will have a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and be confident creating balanced, nutritious dishes that are both delicious and thoughtfully prepared.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch and dinner for the Principal and his wife, catering for additional family members during holidays
• Plan nutritious menus, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine, fresh ingredients and healthy cooking
• Manage ingredient sourcing, grocery shopping, kitchen stock and food hygiene
• Prepare health-focused dishes, including fermented foods and whole grains
• Travel to other residences and prepare meals aboard the Principal’s yacht when required
• Work collaboratively with household staff while independently managing all culinary responsibilities

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Private Chef, ideally within a private household or serving UHNW individuals
• Strong culinary skills, particularly in healthy and Mediterranean cuisine
• Knowledge of fermented foods, quinoa, whole grains and nutritious cooking would be advantageous
• Organised, discreet and proactive, with the ability to manage a kitchen independently
• Flexible regarding working hours, weekends, travel and days off
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Ideally based in Hong Kong with the right to work locally
