Junior PA
Job Description
Junior PA
Location: West End, London
Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time, office-based 3–4 days per week
Salary: £30,000–£37,000 (DOE)
About the Role
We are partnering with a fast-growing events business to find their new Junior PA to support the Founder & Managing Director. We are looking for a proactive, highly organised and resourceful candidate who is confident supporting 1:1 and helping out the wider team and is excited to jump into the world of fast-paced events.
This is a varied role combining personal assistance, business administration and day-to-day team support. You'll play an important part in keeping things running smoothly, from managing diaries and travel arrangements to handling invoices, coordinating meetings and helping the team stay organised. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership and is happy to roll up their sleeves to get things done. You'll work closely with the Founder and gain exposure to the wider business, with the opportunity to develop your responsibilities over time. For the right candidate, there is also scope to grow into a broader operational role within the events business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and helping to prioritise a busy schedule.
- Arranging flights and other travel logistics and itineraries for the Founder, clients and team members, ensuring plans run smoothly.
- Providing a combination of professional and private assistance to the Founder, handling requests efficiently and with discretion.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks, keeping information organised and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Processing invoices, managing digital payments, maintaining records and supporting general filing and document management.
- Pitching in wherever needed and, over time, potentially taking on additional responsibilities across event planning, logistics and business operations.
About You
You're a calm, capable and highly organised individual who enjoys being one step ahead and making life easier for the people around you. You're flexible, practical and resourceful, with a genuine do-it-yourself attitude and the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Proactive and resourceful attitude, happy to get stuck in, solve problems and take responsibility.
- Calm under pressure, able to adapt quickly when plans change and maintain a positive, solutions-focused approach.
- A clear communicator, confident liaising with colleagues, clients and external contacts.
- Keen to learn and develop, with an interest in understanding how a growing events business operates.
- Previous experience in a PA, administrative, office support or similar role would be beneficial.
This is an opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial team in a role that offers variety, responsibility and the chance to work closely with the Founder and exceptional growth and learning opportunities. You'll gain first-hand insight into the running of the business and, for someone keen to progress, there is scope to develop beyond traditional PA responsibilities into a broader events operations role. If you're organised, adaptable, and you enjoy being the person who keeps everything moving behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you!
