Job Description

We are delighted to be representing a Family Office in Zurich, who are looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper documenting of investments and investment decisions in-house and with help of external advisors.
  • Restructure and optimize historical investment documentation
  • Provide regular reporting to Management using metrics and data visualization tools effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making processes
  • Support the team and partner asset managers in all aspects of managing the portfolio to ensure daily tasks are handled efficiently
  • Preparation of cash flow analysis and forecasting future cash flows (e.g. expected capital calls, expected distributions, etc.)
  • Contribute to the establishment of common practices, tools, and templates for portfolio and project management, and ensure adherence to the group’s standards
  • Preparation of the profitability analyses at project and portfolio level jointly with local teams
  • Coordination of activities between the holding level and local level to ensure proper execution of transactions
  • Communication and liaising with clients, advisors, banks

 

Required skills and qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in investment industry
  • Strong understating of various investment products, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments
  • Expertise in private equity
  • Expertise in financial analysis and modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to various audiences
  • CFA designation or other relevant certifications are considered an asset
  • Fluent in English. Russian would be an advantage
