Job Description

 

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 p.a.

Start: ASAP

I am partnered with my favorite boutique that has sixteen locations in New York and New Jersey.  They are best known to inspire confidence and us like a best friend or second mom to help you dress for a special occasion or day to day. They always strive to go the extra mile, and this is reflected in every employee that they hire.  Right now, they are looking to hire a manager for their store located in Scarsdale, New York.

 

Role Description

  • A natural leader and role model to your entire staff
  • Responsible for building a team of people who can help drive sales, maintain cleanliness, engage customers, and maintain customer relationships.
  • Forward thinking about the business and always thinking out of the box and come up with innovative ways to keep your customers and staff engaged.
  • Treat your store as if it was your own and treat your staff and customers like family.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing inventory, training and supervising the staff, and driving sales
  •  Responsible for maintaining excellent customer service standards and ensuring that the store meets or exceeds its revenue targets.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management, with a focus on fashion and apparel
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Responsible for monthly store sales goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software is a plus
  • Passion for the fashion industry and staying up to date on the latest trends
