Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Senior Digital Marketing will oversee multi-platform digital channels, including web and social media, to drive brand visibility and engagement. This role involves leading content creation, implementing digital strategies, and ensuring alignment with corporate campaigns and project launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy Development:
    Collaborate with the Head of Digital to craft and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the agency’s goals. Identify growth opportunities and enhance brand presence across platforms.

  • Social Media Management:
    Oversee all social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement. Monitor trends to boost engagement and support promotional efforts for the agency’s brand and associated films.

  • Website Management:
    Optimize and manage the agency’s website using a CMS, ensuring a user-friendly experience, regular updates, SEO enhancements, and conversion optimization.

  • Agency Coordination:
    Liaise with agencies to discuss project briefs, track progress, and make recommendations to enhance campaign outcomes.

  • Content Creation & Campaigns:
    Develop and manage targeted content for diverse media platforms. Lead email marketing campaigns on platforms like MailChimp for both corporate and film projects.

  • Collaboration & Distribution:
    Work with internal teams, including the Head of Digital, Marketing Manager, and Operations Team, to manage film-related content backup, delivery, and distribution.

  • Performance Analysis:
    Establish performance benchmarks, evaluate results, and prepare success metrics for paid media campaigns. Deliver sentiment reports, competitor analyses, and social performance updates on a regular basis.

  • Budget Management:
    Oversee the digital marketing budget, allocate resources efficiently, justify expenditures with ROI analysis, and report on financials to the Head of Digital.

  • Compliance & Contracts:
    Manage digital-related contracts in coordination with legal and operations teams. Ensure adherence to digital policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, technology, or a related field.

Professional Skills:

  • Industry-relevant certifications or training.
  • Preferred training in social data analytics, SEO, and SEM.

Experience:

  • 8–10 years of digital media/marketing experience, with knowledge of the MENA region.
  • Expertise in managing websites via CMS and implementing SEO/SEM strategies.
  • Proven track record with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Proficiency in generating and analyzing performance reports for web and social media platforms.
  • Experience with international media groups is advantageous but not essential.
