Job Description

We are seeking a talented Junior Marketing Executive to join a dynamic Marketing and Communications team for a Semi-Government Company. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager for Film and Television, you will play a pivotal role in supporting marketing and communications for our diverse content portfolio across film, television, and new media. This position is ideal for an Emirati looking to advance their career in the marketing and media industry, contributing to high-profile projects that shape the UAE's cultural narrative.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: Support the implementation of comprehensive marketing and communications plans for programs, working closely with the Marketing Manager. This involves:
    • Developing targeted marketing strategies and generating impactful content.
    • Managing external PR, advertising, and production agencies, from initial pitch through to project delivery.
    • Collaborating with local and international distribution partners to enhance audience reach and program engagement.
    • Assisting with PR efforts, including pitching to media outlets and managing press coverage.
    • Leading on digital marketing and social media initiatives, coordinating with agencies and influencers as required.
  • Talent Development & Public Diplomacy Projects:
    • Support talent development initiatives linked to key programs like the Arab Film Studio, Creative Lab, and CNN Academy, including occasional special projects such as workshops and film competitions.
    • Oversee Public Diplomacy initiatives, coordinating with embassies and cultural events (e.g., Culture Summit), as well as managing promotion for projects like the Abrahamic Family House film competition.
  • Creative Collaboration:
    • Actively participate in the creative process, contributing ideas and providing feedback from inception through project completion.
    • Advise content teams on developing projects to optimize marketability and audience engagement.
  • Corporate Marketing Participation:
    • Engage in broader corporate marketing efforts as they relate to individual projects, helping to amplify the company’s brand and mission.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in the media or entertainment industry.
  • Must have Family Book
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
  • Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, and content creation tools.
