Maintenance Manager
Job Description
Tiger Private is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and facilities management of a private residence in St Tropez.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the property's facilities management, including selecting and managing external maintenance, cleaning and waste services, whilst also coordinating with the client’s security team. Key responsibilities include overseeing the routine maintenance of the residence and surrounding grounds, ensuring that equipment inspections—such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers—are completed, and managing external maintenance contractors. You will also be accountable for maintaining essential documentation, including risk assessments, a fixed asset register, the Health & Safety policy, an accident log, and a fire safety log. Additional duties involve managing building equipment maintenance, updating standard operating procedures and maintenance manuals, handling day-to-day repairs as needed, and organising annual maintenance checks.
This position is hands-on, requiring a willingness to personally conduct repairs whenever possible. When additional support is necessary, you will also be responsible for managing external contractors.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Maintenance or Facilities Manager for a private estate, be multi-skilled in areas of property maintenance (including mechanical and electrical systems), have familiarity with Building Management Systems and be comfortable adhering to regulatory guidelines. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential.
