Our client, a London based charity, is looking for an Events Manager to join their team to support on the planning, organisation and delivery of a wide range of global corporate and high-profile events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting into the Senior Events Manager, you will play a key role in organising, overseeing logistics and taking ownership over the charities international events. You will have responsibility for end-to-end event planning, taking the lead on a range of different events from global fundraising events to small fundraising dinners. You will also take ownership on liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Plan and deliver a variation of events aimed at different including major donors, corporates and individual supporters
- Collaborate with the Senior Events Manager and the wider international teams on large global fundraising participatory events, managing logistics and delivery, also helping to create marketing and promotional material when needed
- Liaise with C-Level stakeholders and sponsors
- Manage and take responsibility for event budgets
- Manage the event and any staff required
WHO YOU ARE
Our client is looking for an Events Manager with a proven track record of managing successful events, and who is a strong team player. You will be a proactive person with a positive attitude able to work autonomously and be flexible when needed. Working within a collaborative and inclusive environment, you will be an empathic person who is able to build strong relationships and remain calm in busy environments.
Requirements:
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience of managing multiple events at any one time
- Demonstrable experience of marketing and delivering successful fundraising events
- Experience managing budgets effectively and efficiently
- Experience managing Health and Safety risk assessments
- Working knowledge of Codes of Fundraising practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
