Job Description

An events platform is looking for a Market Research and Data Entry candidate to join them for a 6 week temporary contract. They are looking for someone to conduct comprehensive market research and identify new opportunities within the UK music industry. The role is based in their offices in East London, initially full-time during training but then will offer hybrid working. Hours are 10am-6pm and the hourly rate is £15-£18/hour, depending on experience. 
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the UK music industry, and has a high attention to detail. 
 
What you'll do:
Your primary responsibility will be to gather valuable insights and provide accurate, relevant information on each new lead, helping to drive informed decisions and strategic growth.
  • Conduct Market Research: Collect and input data on various segments of the UK music industry, including festivals, venues, destination events, promoters, and non-music festivals.
  • Identify Key Stakeholders: Use LinkedIn and other research tools to pinpoint relevant stakeholders within the business, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Data Collection and Entry: Input and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in relevant databases and CRM systems.
  • Provide Insights and Recommendations: Analyse research findings and offer insights to assist in decision-making and strategy development.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other team members to align research with business goals and objectives.
 
Who you are:
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research and uncover new opportunities in the UK music industry.
  • You are tech-savvy, proficient in Gmail, Google Sheets/Docs and quick to learn other tools.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present research findings clearly.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a bonus.
  • Experience working within any relevant industry to the UK Music Industry is a bonus.
  • Good at following instructions as well as self-directed and able to work without supervision.
  • Creative and able to think outside the box.
  • Hands-on with an attitude that no tasks are too small for you.
