Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office and HR Administrator for a client in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Trading or FMCG sectors and will be responsible for managing office operations, handling HR functions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration:

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Manage office supplies, procurement, and vendor relationships to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, including liaising with service providers for repairs and utilities.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and document filing systems.
  • Support management in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

Human Resources:

  • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, including preparation of contracts, induction programs, and document verification.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including employee files, attendance, and leave management.
  • Address employee queries and concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate performance appraisals, training, and professional development programs.
  • Assist in payroll preparation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee salaries.

Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and other relevant regulations.
  • Update and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Office and HR Administrator in the Trading or FMCG industry.
  • Familiarity with office management tools and HR software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Willingness to work in an industrial area in Abu Dhabi.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
