Spanish-speaking Nanny
Job Description
Our client, a warm and lovely private busy family based in Austin, TX are looking for a full-time, live-out, Spanish-speaking Nanny to join their team for support of their 2-year-old child. This role does require domestic and international travel. The family also has 1 dog so must be comfortable around animals. You must be flexible with a Monday - Sunday (exact days and times will vary) schedule.
As part of the team, you would be working with a 1 other Nanny, providing the best coverage to the child. This is a live-out role, and Austin, TX based. They are looking for someone who is wanting to be with the family for years to come. You must also be comfortable with a rotating shift as needed and holidays. Travel with the family will also be throughout the year – some trips maybe for longer periods. They also do have additional residences in San Francisco, New York City and Atlanta which they will visit periodically
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drop off and pick up from school
- Creating routines and schedules for the child – helping to create a safe and stimulating environment
- Traveling with the family – domestic and international
- Researching activities for the child, classes and schools as needed. Calendar management as needed
- Assisting with planning children’s activities on vacations
- Child laundry, packing/unpacking for trips, toy rotation
- Light meal prep for the child
- Running errands
- Assisting as needed in maintenance and cleanup of child’s bedrooms and items
- Assistance with dog care as needed and light housekeeping where needed
- Purchasing items for the child / submitting expense reports for purchases
- Teaching the child Spanish
- Engaging play – music, reading, building, and problem solving
THE CANDIDATE:
Their ideal candidate would be someone who loves working with children and is a team player, a no task is too big or small outlook. A positive attitude and is comfortable with an ever-changing environment, along with flexibility in scheduling as needed, Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record and valid U.S. passport as well as being comfortable driving a vehicle with children. CPR & First aid certified. Work well collaboratively with the family office team and be able to jump in if needed. Please note you must already be based in Austin, TX.
SALARY:
$100,000 p.a.
