We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Junior IT Onsite Support Specialist to play a crucial role in deploying and scaling modern workplace technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is eager to work with cutting-edge IT hardware and conferencing solutions, particularly Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) Deployment: Assist with the onboarding and rollout of MTR technology across Switzerland, ensuring smooth adoption and integration into meeting rooms and workplaces.
- Workplace Modernization: Replace traditional user workspaces with modern equipment such as curved monitors, ensuring a seamless transition for users and enhancing their work experience.
- User Support: Provide on-site IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to maintain smooth functionality of user workplaces.
- Collaboration with Global Teams: Share experiences and best practices with international teams, supporting their efforts in implementing MTR technologies across locations.
- IT Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Quickly resolve any issues related to meeting rooms and user workspaces, ensuring a high level of operational efficiency.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (AS TIME ALLOWS)
- Laptop Staging & Configuration: Assist in staging and configuring laptops for deployment to new users.
- In-Person Support: Provide in-person IT support for employees visiting the onsite IT team.
WHO YOU ARE
- Some experience in IT support, preferably in a hands-on, customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and German.
- Basic knowledge of modern IT hardware and software, including familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) technology (training will be provided).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a customer-focused approach.
