I have a fantastic opportunity to join a consultancy firm as an Office Manager. You would oversee the office operations and support the SLT to aid the efficiency of the company. The successful candidate needs to be experienced and professional. The role will function within a fast-paced team environment so interpersonal skills are essential.
What you’ll do:
An effective Office Manager will be happy to be the go-to person for the company. Typical duties will include:
- Managing contracting and invoicing processes
- Review paid-for services to look for cost savings and quality improvements
- Be the lead for IT solutions, ensuring the equipment in place helps improve the efficiency of the business
- Booking travel, coordinating complex meetings and booking meeting rooms
- Coordinating events
- Induct new staff and refine HR processes
- Organise company social events and wellbeing initiatives
Who you’ll need/do:
The successful Office Manager will be highly organised and experienced. Other attributes include:
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Produce work to the highest quality
- Understanding organisational priorities, multi-task and ask for support when needed
- Be solution-oriented and input more efficient processes where appropriate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable conversing with high-profile clients and stakeholders
