Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, identify, survey, evaluate, and propose potential areas for business expansion.
  • Regularly analyze business reports, identify challenges aligned with the company’s direction, and recommend countermeasures and improvements to management.
  • Negotiate rental and tenancy terms on behalf of the company.
  • Participate in store opening activities, mall-related corporate events, and other appointments as needed.
  • Assess and advise on legal risks in lease or tenancy agreements and suggest countermeasures.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with landlords, developers, property owners, investors, and bankers, representing the company professionally during negotiations.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure timely store openings.
  • Handle all relevant matters to ensure the successful launch of new stores.
  • Lead the Business Expansion team to achieve KPIs and expansion targets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external SOPs and policies.
  • Establish strong relationships with local councils and customs officers when necessary, ensuring adherence to government rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A degree in retail/property management, real estate, business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail management, with key exposure to leasing, strategic expansion, and store development (e.g., new builds, renovations).
  • Strong networking skills with developers, landlords, property owners, local councils, and customs officers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with other relevant tools is a plus.
  • Systematic, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Good knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations related to the retail or fashion industry.
  • Must possess personal transportation and be willing to travel locally or internationally as required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
