This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, varied environment. In this flexible, part-time contract role, you will be responsible for providing support to the team. This support will not be limited to classic PA duties but also research, operational, and marketing tasks. We are looking for a professional candidate who thrives in a busy environment and is capable of balancing multiple responsibilities efficiently. In order to provide the best possible support, we are looking for someone who can be in the office one day per week or fortnight and can pick up an hour or two of work per day.

What you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing PA support to partners, including diary management, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements and managing email correspondence
  • Assisting with document preparation, presentations, and reports, including research, regulatory and compliance reporting.
  • Maintaining and updating CRM systems and general records.
  • Basic bookkeeping, and liaising with accountants and payroll providers.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns, maintaining company social media profiles, and website.
  • Helping organise company events, webinars, and networking functions.
  • Overseeing day-to-day office operations, including office maintenance and supplies

Who you are
We are looking for a professional candidate who is organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable. You will be:

  • Experienced in a similar role within a financial or venture capital environment (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Xero.
  • Familiar with accounting principles and basic numeracy skills.
  • Organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A strong communicator with a positive, flexible attitude and the ability to collaborate in a small team.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, flexible working hours (10 - 20 hours per week, 16 hours on average) on an ongoing basis.
