Job Summary

This is a highly specialised role, please do carefully read the requirements of the role to ensure your experience aligns with our clients requirements. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead intralogistics and warehouse automation projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a strong background in any of the following industries intralogistics, automation, robotics, or material handling systems, and the ability to manage large-scale technical projects from planning to execution.

This position is based in Jeddah and is ONLY open to candidates who are fluent Arabic speakers. (Please do not apply if you do not speak Arabic.)

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead medium to complex automation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain control over project schedules, ensuring major milestones (e.g., execution specifications, FAT, SAT, PAC, FAC) are met.

Financial & Risk Management

• Develop and maintain project forecasts, anticipating potential cost implications.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure claim management processes are in place.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

• Act as the key point of contact for internal teams, external suppliers, and clients.
• Manage procurement processes and supplier selection to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical & Quality Oversight

• Ensure compliance with automation, robotics, and material handling standards.
• Work closely with engineering teams to optimize system performance and integration.

Skills & Experience Required

Educational & Professional Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in project management within intralogistics, warehouse automation, robotics, or manufacturing automation.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering at least five large-scale projects.

Technical Expertise

• Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), conveyors, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), and robotics.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Basic understanding of PLC, IoT, and AI-driven logistics solutions.

Key Competencies

• Strong project management skills, including scheduling and cost control.
  Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  Ability to troubleshoot automation issues and optimize workflows.
  Experience working in fast-paced, high-tech warehouse environments.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a fluent Arabic speaker – this is non-negotiable.
• Must be able to access Makkah and Medina for project-related activities.
• Open to relocating to Jeddah if not already based there.
• Willing to travel (up to 50%) for on-site project execution.
