Travelling Driver/ Houseman
Job Description
Tiger Private is looking for a highly flexible and dedicated Travelling Driver & Houseman to support a high-profile principal with a fast-paced and demanding lifestyle.
This role requires someone with a strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and commitment to service, as well as the ability to adapt to constant travel and changing schedules.
The client is London-based; however, they travel year-round to destinations including the United States, the Middle East, and Europe, often for extended periods and at short notice.
The chosen candidate must be based within a close commute of Mayfair, London, and have their own London-based accommodation. Accommodation, food, and all travel expenses will be covered while travelling.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide chauffeur services, ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for the principal.
● Act as a valet, managing the principal’s personal wardrobe, packing and unpacking, and ensuring all clothing and accessories are well maintained.
● Organise closets, manage laundry, and prepare outfits as required.
● Oversee and prepare travel kits, ensuring all necessary items are packed and available at all times.
● Assist with unpacking and repacking during travel, maintaining seamless transitions between locations.
● Provide household, service and housekeeping assistance, including errands, personal shopping, and liaising with household staff as needed.
● Work flexibly, including travelling over bank holidays and weekends, with time off in lieu and alternate weekend cover with the second driver.
● Maintain the highest standards of service and discretion at all times.
● Understand and embody a life of service, ensuring the principal’s needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Key Requirements:
● Prior experience in a similar chauffeur, valet, or houseman role.
● Full, clean driving licence.
● Ability to handle frequent travel and work on an on-call basis.
● Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
● High level of discretion and confidentiality.
● Positive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond.
● Ability to balance downtime while remaining available when required.
● Understanding of high-level service expectations and etiquette.
● Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills in fast-moving environments.
