Tiger Private is looking for a professional, creative, and energetic Part-Time Russian Governess to work for a family based in Central London and support their younger child in learning the Russian language and culture.

This role involves creating a structured yet fun and engaging environment to develop the child’s language skills through activities, outings, and tailored learning experiences.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and implement a structured and age-appropriate learning program to develop and enhance a child's Russian language skills and general world knowledge.
  • Plan and organise creative and educational activities, including visits to museums, parks, and cultural sites in London.
  • Support language development by introducing new vocabulary through play an interactive sessions.
  • Monitor the child’s progress and provide regular updates to the parents.
  • Create a nurturing and engaging environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and effective learning.
  • Foster the child’s overall development by aligning activities with key childhood developmental milestones.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Higher education degree, preferably in pedagogy, linguistics, early childhood development, or a related field.
  • Native Russian speaker with fluency in English.
  • Proven experience working with young children, ideally in a teaching or governess capacity.
  • Knowledge of early childhood developmental stages and ability to create age-appropriate learning strategies.
  • Creative, personable, and energetic with a passion for teaching and language development.
  • Trustworthy, flexible, and structured with the ability to balance educational goals with fun and play.
  • British passport holder and valid DBS check.

 

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday:

9:00am – 12:00pm (now).

1:00pm – 4:00pm (from the next academic year)
