ROLE:  Part-time Management Accountant

TO START:  As soon as possible ( 3 days a week)

DURATION:  3 months (possible extension)

LOCATION:  London

This is an exciting opportunity to join a UK-based video game publisher dedicated to bringing incredible gaming experiences to players worldwide. Working closely with talented developers, they publish unique and engaging titles across both digital and physical platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:

•  Assisting the Finance team in analysing data and implementing new processes within the business
• Assisting in building monthly management accounts packs including reconciliations of Balance Sheet and P&L figures
• Building journals to post which will feed into the month end process
• Assisting in creating Royalty Statements
• Assisting the FC in helping develop the skills of the junior finance team members
• Other ad hoc tasks from the business that require Finance input

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping (including debtors, creditors, how numbers flow between the balance sheet and income statement)
• You will be part or fully qualified
• Intermediate Excel skills (including pivot tables, sum-ifs and look ups)
• Prior experience using Sage 50 is desirable
• Prior work experience within the gaming/entertainment sector is desirable but not essential
