Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Trading Risk Manager to oversee risk management for our oil trading activities. In this role, you will identify, analyze, and mitigate risks, collaborating closely with traders, analysts, and key stakeholders to ensure effective risk control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess oil trading activities to identify potential risks.

• Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies tailored to the oil market.

• Conduct risk assessments and stress testing of trading portfolios.

• Work closely with traders to ensure compliance with risk limits and guidelines.

• Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.

• Manage hedging strategies to mitigate cargo-related risks.

• Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on oil trading risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trading risk management, with a focus on the oil market.

• Strong knowledge of oil trading, risk assessment methodologies, and trading instruments.

• Proficiency in risk management tools and software.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Fluency in Russian is required.
