Job Title: Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications 

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 45,000 - AED 70,000 

Reporting to: Founding Partner / Executive Team

About the Role

 

We have partnered with an North American Private Equity firm who are relocating to Dubai and are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications to lead the firm’s corporate communications, storytelling and content strategy across all channels. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping the public narrative of both the firm and its portfolio companies, while also supporting select high-level executives with personal brand positioning and communications.

 

You’ll be the architect behind how our brand is perceived—from thought leadership and social media to executive voice and portfolio storytelling.

 

The ideal candidate will come from a Financial Services, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Start up or Creative agency background and it is a prerequisite that all applicants have experience working in the UAE, additional experience working in North America and/or Europe would be a huge plus. 

 

This role will be the firms first hire within the Marketing / Communcations team and this individual will be responsible for growing out the team. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Brand & Storytelling Strategy
    • Develop and lead the overarching marketing and content strategy for the firm and its portfolio companies.
    • Craft compelling brand narratives that resonate across investor, partner, and client audiences.
    • Define tone, visual standards, and messaging consistency across all communications.
  • Content Creation & Social Media
    • Own and manage the firm’s and key executives’ presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant media.
    • Oversee the creation of high-quality content including thought leadership posts, newsletters, social media campaigns, videos, and brand materials.
    • Work closely with internal and external creatives (designers, videographers, copywriters).
  • Executive Communications
    • Develop and manage content pipelines for select executives—supporting their public voice, including speaking engagements, articles, interviews, and social media.
    • Maintain alignment between the executive brand and the firm’s positioning.
  • Portfolio Company Support (20% of the role)
    • Serve as an internal advisor to portfolio companies on storytelling, brand strategy, and go-to-market messaging.
    • Collaborate with startup teams to launch and grow their presence in-market.
  • Analytics & Optimization
    • Track performance metrics across social and content channels and continuously optimize based on engagement and business impact.
    • Maintain a pulse on industry trends, platforms, and tools that can support visibility and differentiation.

Requirements

 

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, or content creation—ideally within venture capital, private equity, startups, or creative agencies.
  • Proven track record of leading high-level marketing strategies and brand development.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and content development skills.
  • Deep understanding of social media, especially LinkedIn and emerging business-facing platforms.
  • Strong visual eye and ability to oversee or collaborate on multimedia production.
  • Comfortable working directly with C-level executives and founders.
  • Highly autonomous, strategic, and execution-oriented.

Nice to Have

 

  • Experience supporting executive brands or founders.
  • Familiarity with both B2B and B2C messaging environments.
  • Portfolio of campaigns, writing, or brand narratives.
