Job Description
My lovely client, a dynamic and fast-paced Asset Management firm based in the West End, is seeking a switched-on and personable Office Manager/Administrator to join their welcoming team. This successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including handling staff enquiries, supporting basic HR functions, and acting as the main point of contact for suppliers, contractors, and the building manager. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, while also having the freedom to make the role their own!
This is a part-time role, working Monday to Thursday in the office, with Fridays off. Working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM but there can be some flexibility.
What You’ll Do:
- Meet and greet guests
- Assist in booking travel and dairy management for senior team members
- Handle expenses and invoices
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Coordinate internal events
- Oversee HR duties such as managing staff records and incoming CVs
- Liaise with suppliers, building manager and security
- Support day-to-day office administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment
Who You Are:
- You have proven experience in a similar Office Manager or Office Administrator role
- You must have previous experience working in a financial services environment
- You’re highly organised, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Experienced with Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Skilled in corporate travel arrangements
- A natural communicator – confident working with colleagues at all levels, including senior stakeholders
- Friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic – a real team player who also works well independently
