Live-in House Manager/Housekeeper
Job Description
Tiger Private is looking for a professional, detail-oriented live-in, hands-on House Manager/Housekeeper to support a couple and their young child in their 20,000+ sq ft private residence with swimming pool in Virginia Water.
This role requires someone proactive, hands-on, and organised, with high standards and the ability to manage both the day-to-day running and long-term upkeep of a large, beautifully maintained home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Housekeeping & Presentation
- Tidy the house daily and ensure beautiful presentation throughout
- Make beds and maintain bedroom standards daily
- Handle laundry and ironing to a high standard
- Arrange and maintain fresh flowers in the home
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep and washing of Principals two cars
- Staff Management
- Oversee and coordinate with external cleaners (who visit once a week)
- Organise and liaise with gardeners and any external suppliers
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs across the property
- Systems & Property Oversight
- Monitor and manage home systems: pools, heating/AC, lighting, and other automated functions
- Help maintain inventories and manage household supplies, including cleaning products, water, and essentials
- Additional Support
- Organise dry cleaning pickups and returns
- Occasionally assist with simple food preparation for the couple’s 4-year-old child
- Provide light service during occasional dinner parties or small gatherings
Accommodation
Private live-in accommodation is provided as part of the role. This includes a well-appointed, self-contained space within the property grounds with separate entrance, private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette/living area, offering comfort, offering independence while remaining on-hand for household needs.
