Role: Senior HR Generalist (Maternity Cover)

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for building strong people operations in fast-growing environments? We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Senior HR Generalist to join the team and help shape a positive, scalable employee experience during a pivotal period of growth.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in scaling organisations and understands the complexities and opportunities that come with rapid change. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations, supporting the full employee lifecycle, and contributing to broader people initiatives that support organisational effectiveness.

The Role:

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, payroll coordination, performance milestones, and offboarding.
  • Handle employee relations matters with care, discretion, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate regular reports using our HR systems.
  • Support compliance with UK employment law, data privacy standards, and internal policy frameworks.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues in the UK, Switzerland, and other regions to ensure consistency and connection across teams.
  • Create and maintain essential HR documents and tools to support a growing team.
  • Partner closely with senior HR leadership on strategic people projects aligned to growth goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally you will have at least 5 years of HR operations experience, including experience in a senior or specialist role.
  • Proven experience working in SME’s  have undergone periods of growth or transformation.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law, HR compliance requirements, and payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems (e.g. BambooHR), Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, with a focus on inclusion, equity, and continuous improvement.
  • A degree in Human Resources, or a related field (CIPD Level 5 or above preferred).
