Our client is a leading logistics organization headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is undergoing a major digital transformation and is seeking a highly skilled IT Engineering Manager to lead the charge. This is a strategic, hands-on role for a seasoned tech leader who brings deep experience in mobile development, agile practices, and technology consulting. You will be instrumental in driving digital product delivery across mobile platforms, enhancing the customer experience, and aligning IT initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for the design and development of digital logistics solutions.

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of mobile applications using Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), and cross-platform tools such as Flutter (Dart) or React Native (JavaScript).

• Champion Agile methodologies, drive Scrum practices, and ensure high-velocity product delivery.

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, translating digital strategy into actionable tech roadmaps.

• Build scalable, secure, and resilient digital platforms aligned with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering function.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Engineering Manager, ideally in large-scale digital transformation projects.

• Strong consulting background (top-tier consultancy experience preferred).

• Deep technical expertise in mobile application development across iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks.

• Certified in Agile Methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP).

• Track record of managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex digital solutions on time.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strategic mindset.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the logistics or transportation sector is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.
