People and Culture Manager - Fast-growing Apparel Company

Bell, California

Salary: $120,000 p.a. - $150,000 p.a.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Primary contact for all HR compliance, handbooks, benefits, and payroll.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law.
  • Research, propose and develop HR initiatives with leadership.
  • New hire onboarding and orientation in conjunction with the group training.
  • Support leadership on matters including compensation, benefits, leave, administering and advising on performance management, grievances, disputes, investigations and resolution procedures, disciplinary matters, termination procedures, occupational health and safety and training and development. 
  • Lead on employer/employee relations to include responsibility for the entire employee life cycle for allocated team members.
  • Develop job descriptions for new hires or ongoing alignment of existing roles.
  • Determine suitable salaries and remuneration in conjunction with leadership.
  • Manage HR related finance tasks (i.e., payroll data including overtime, holidays, paid leave, bonuses).
  • Support local leadership on performance management and review process.
  • Development of employee opportunities for professional development.
  • Perform all other HR related duties as required.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A minimum of 8+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Prior experience in fashion or related field strongly preferred
  • Preferred HR certification, such as SHRM‐CP, SHRM‐SCP
  • Experience with Workday
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Highly organized, excellent time management skills, reliable
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Adept at multi‐tasking
