Policy Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Policy Manager to support the development, implementation, and evolution of a robust regulatory policy framework. This role is ideal for a policy professional with deep understanding of financial markets, strong research and analytical skills, and the ability to work across a variety of thematic areas including Digital Assets and Capital Markets (e.g., funds). The role also involves stakeholder engagement, strategic input into business planning, and contributing to the organisation’s communications and outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead thematic research and analysis to inform regulatory policy decisions.

Draft policy papers, consultation documents, and responses to stakeholder feedback.

Benchmark against international best practices and regulatory standards.

Analyse risks and market trends to guide the direction of policy initiatives.

Identify areas requiring strategic or policy reform.

Assess options and recommend policy responses based on a rigorous comparative analysis.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry participants, regulatory peers, and international bodies.

Address internal and market-driven policy questions and provide clear, actionable guidance.

Support the planning and delivery of communications strategies, including public consultations, presentations, and regulatory guidance.

Prepare content for public events and senior-level speeches or external engagements.

Contribute to the development of departmental business plans and strategic priorities.

Support the implementation of risk management practices and uphold a strong risk-aware culture within the division.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Law, or International Relations.

5–7 years of experience in a financial regulatory body, public authority, or relevant industry organisation.

Proven track record in policy development, regulatory engagement, or strategic research.

Experience working with stakeholders and managing multi-channel communications.

Familiarity with digital finance, capital markets, and global regulatory trends is a plus.
