Our client is looking for a skilled Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The role plays a key part in maintaining precise financial records, delivering timely reports, and ensuring alignment with UAE accounting and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy across the general ledger

• Produce financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

• Oversee invoicing, collections, and payment processing

• Assist with financial planning, forecasts, and cash flow monitoring

• Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory obligations

• Liaise with external auditors, banking partners, and financial consultants

• Reconcile transactions linked to payment platforms and gateways

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal financial controls

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline

• Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance-related positions

• Working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance standards

• Background in fintech, payments, or technology-focused environments is an advantage

• Strong capability in accounting systems and advanced Excel usage
