We are currently partnering with a growing trading business in Dubai seeking a highly organised and analytical Accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience within the Trading, FMCG, Import/Export, or 3PL sectors and possess strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to support a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting
• Monitor cash flow, reconciliations, AP/AR, and general ledger activities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Oversee import/export financial transactions and logistics cost tracking
• Coordinate with 3PL providers and internal operational teams
• Assist with audits, compliance, and financial documentation
• Support senior management with financial insights and reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

Key Requirements

• Must currently be based in Dubai, UAE
• 5–7 years of accounting experience within Trading, FMCG, Import/Export, or 3PL industries
• Strong understanding of import/export operations and supply chain financial processes
• Experience working with 3PL providers and logistics-related accounting
• Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), financial due diligence, or business restructuring is highly advantageous
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a data-driven mindset
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Experience in high-volume trading environments preferred
