Tiger Private is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a private client based in Marylebone for a Household Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience looking to grow within a private household or Family office environment. It is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep and day-to-day running of the office. This includes restocking and maintaining the space, receiving and organising parcels, managing postage and returns, meeting contractors, and liaising with building management as required. Light administration will also form part of the role, including paying bills, basic data entry, booking travel and taxis for guests and colleagues, and providing general organisational support. Meeting and greeting visitors and preparing teas and coffees will also be part of the day-to-day.
The role extends to a private residence, where the candidate will provide a similar level of practical, hands-on support. This includes managing deliveries, arranging tradespeople, handling ad hoc household requests, and assisting with general organisation.
A full, clean driving licence is essential and confidence behind the wheel is a must. The candidate will be required to drive the principal to the office occasionally and will be responsible for the upkeep of a vehicle, keeping it clean and charged and managing all related administration including insurance, parking, and general maintenance. Occasional out-of-hours driving, such as airport transfers, may be required, with time off given in lieu.
