Butler / Household Manager – Private Residence

Overview

We are supporting a professional couple based in a luxury residence on Palm Jumeirah who are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Butler / Household Manager. The household includes a dog and an existing housemaid, and the successful candidate will take full ownership of the home, ensuring everything runs seamlessly to a high standard.

The role can be live in or live out and will involve occasional travel to Europe (3–4 times per year for 3–7 days at a time).

Key Responsibilities

• Kitchen & nutrition (core focus): Prepare and/or supervise all meals in line with specific dietary requirements. Meals are simple, clean, and healthy (primarily steamed food), but require precision and consistency, including accurate portioning.
• Supplement & inventory management: Manage a structured supplement routine, including daily preparation, stock control, and reordering.
• Household management: Oversee and manage the housemaid, setting clear standards and ensuring the home is maintained to a high level at all times.
• Hands-on support: Work alongside the maid and take responsibility for kitchen organisation, laundry, wardrobe management, and general upkeep.
• Errands & logistics: Grocery shopping, dry cleaning, vet visits, and general household coordination as required.

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a butler, head housekeeper, or similar role within UHNW/HNW private households or 5-star hospitality
• Essential: Experience preparing meals and following structured dietary plans (a chef is not required)
• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and organised
• Experience managing household staff
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
