A private family with a luxury chalet in Verbier is seeking an experienced and highly professional Housekeeper to join their household team. The housekeeper will take pride in creating a warm, immaculate, and welcoming environment for the family and their guests. This is a key position in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the chalet, with a strong focus on discretion, reliability, and attention to detail.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Daily housekeeping and presentation of the chalet to the highest standards
• Care of fine furnishings, surfaces, artwork, and antiques (as applicable)
• Laundry and wardrobe management, including delicate clothing and linens
• Bed making, turndown service, and seasonal organisation of wardrobes
• Keeping bathrooms, spa, and wellness areas spotless and well-stocked
• Assisting with table settings, informal meal service, and clearing when required
• Liaising with the family office/chalet manager regarding household supplies and inventories
• Coordinating with chefs, nannies, and other household staff to ensure seamless service
• Occasional errand running, grocery shopping, or support with guest arrivals/departures
• Reporting maintenance issues discreetly and proactively

WHO YOU ARE

• Previous experience working in a luxury private household, family residence, or high-end chalet
• Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills with strong attention to detail
• Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the family and their guests
• Professional, positive, and service-oriented approach
• Team player who can also work independently with initiative
• Fluent in English; (French or other languages an advantage)
• EU/Swiss passport or valid Swiss work permit essential
