The successful candidate will safely drive the principal and family members to and from various locations, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience at all times. Duties will include assisting with luggage and personal belongings, planning routes in advance while adapting to traffic and weather conditions, and maintaining clear and professional communication throughout.

Full responsibility for the principal’s fleet of vehicles will form a key part of the role, including ensuring vehicles are maintained to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and presentation. The Chauffeur / Handyman will oversee MOTs, servicing requirements, vehicle records, and basic maintenance checks, reporting any issues promptly. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain the vehicle overnight at the principal’s property or another designated location when required.

Alongside chauffeur duties, the role will involve managing routine property maintenance across the client’s residences, undertaking minor repairs, and assisting with a range of practical household tasks. Responsibilities will include liaising with contractors and tradespeople, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, supporting the wider household team where necessary, and carrying out basic gardening duties.

The successful candidate must be highly flexible and available to accommodate a schedule that may vary significantly from day to day.

Applicants must hold a clean UK driving licence and have strong driving experience, ideally with luxury vehicles. Previous experience working within a private household or similar high-service environment is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a private household environment, possess excellent organisational skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage changing priorities with professionalism and efficiency. Candidates with an ex-military background are highly desirable.
