Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Private Chef with experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants and a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality, restaurant-standard meals for a private household, ensuring outstanding culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and present breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasional special event menus for the principal, family, and guests.
  • Develop creative, seasonal, and nutritionally balanced Mediterranean-inspired menus tailored to individual preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Source and select premium-quality ingredients from trusted suppliers and specialty vendors.
  • Maintain Michelin-level culinary standards in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations.
  • Manage all kitchen inventory, purchasing, stock rotation, and food cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
  • Cater for private events, entertaining, and VIP guest dining experiences when required.
  • Adapt menus and meal plans to accommodate travel schedules, special occasions, and dietary preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Work closely with household staff to ensure seamless meal service and guest experience.
  • Stay current with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations while respecting the principal's preferences.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef within Michelin-starred or equivalent fine dining establishments.
  • Strong expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, including Italian, Greek, Spanish, French Mediterranean, and Levantine influences.
  • Experience working within private households, UHNW family offices, luxury yachts, villas, or high-end hospitality environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and healthy cooking techniques.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain complete discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Professional culinary qualifications from a recognized institution preferred.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
