An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and entrepreneurial Chief Growth Officer to join a highly regarded multi-family office and alternative investment platform serving ultra-high-net-worth families, individuals, and institutional investors.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future growth of a sophisticated financial services business during a significant period of expansion. Working closely with the Founder and executive leadership team, you will lead the firm's strategic growth agenda, driving both organic and inorganic growth while implementing the operational infrastructure required to support long-term success.

This role is ideally suited to a senior executive who combines commercial acumen with operational excellence and enjoys building scalable businesses in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the firm's enterprise-wide growth strategy across multiple business lines.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define growth priorities, business objectives, and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Build and scale client acquisition strategies targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, and institutional investors.
  • Expand and cultivate strategic referral networks, including attorneys, CPAs, investment professionals, and other centers of influence.
  • Drive brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and business development strategies that generate sustainable growth.
  • Lead acquisitions, strategic partnerships, advisor lift-outs, and corporate development initiatives from sourcing through integration.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize collaboration and revenue generation across multiple investment platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable operating systems, performance dashboards, and measurable growth processes using Lean Management methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development and growth team.
  • Establish key performance metrics and provide regular reporting to executive leadership on pipeline, assets under management, client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of senior leadership experience in business development, growth strategy, distribution, or corporate development within wealth management, asset management, private markets, or a related financial services environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business growth through both organic and acquisition-led strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the ultra-high-net-worth marketplace, wealth management, investment platforms, and institutional client relationships.
  • Experience implementing Lean Management principles, the Danaher Business System (DBS), or similar operational excellence frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic partnerships, acquisitions, or corporate development initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with the executive presence to engage sophisticated clients and stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build processes, teams, and infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time in Park Ridge, IL, Boston, MA, or Salt Lake City, UT, with travel as required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within an RIA, family office, multi-family office, private wealth firm, asset manager, or alternative investment platform.
  • M&A transaction experience, including due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Lean Six Sigma or comparable operational excellence certification.
  • Experience leveraging AI productivity tools to improve research, analysis, planning, and execution.
