We are seeking an experienced and proactive Domestic Couple to oversee the care and management of a private property in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and dedicated couple who take pride in maintaining exceptional standards and ensuring a residence runs seamlessly in the principal’s absence.

The role would suit a hands-on, trustworthy and self-sufficient couple seeking a long-term position in a beautiful coastal setting, where they can take full ownership of the property’s upkeep and presentation.

Please note: Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must already live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate independently. A car will be provided.

The Property

The Principal and family do not reside at the property full-time and visit periodically. The primary responsibility of the couple will therefore be the overall care, maintenance and smooth running of the residence to ensure it is always prepared to an exceptional standard.

The property includes:

• A swimming pool
• A Russian banya (experience with banya maintenance and management is highly desirable)
• No pets
• No tennis court
• No childcare responsibilities

When the principal and family are in residence, cooking will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Household Management:

• Full care and presentation of the property
• Deep cleaning and daily housekeeping
• Laundry and wardrobe care
• Preparing the house ahead of arrivals
• Liaising with contractors and overseeing maintenance works

Maintenance & Grounds:

• General property maintenance and troubleshooting
• Pool upkeep and monitoring
• Banya maintenance and management (strongly preferred)
• Managing suppliers and service providers
• Ensuring the security and overall upkeep of the estate

Hospitality & Cooking (when in residence):

• Confident family-style cooking
• Supporting the smooth running of the household during visits
• Providing a warm yet professional service 

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Domestic Couple within a private household
• Strong practical maintenance skills
• Experience managing pools; banya experience highly desirable
• Flexible, discreet and highly organised
• Russian-speaking candidates preferred (not essential)
• Right to work in the UK

Package

• Salary £80,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)
