EA to Group CEO, CFO and Group Counsel
Job Description
Executive Assistant to Group CEO, CFO & Group Counsel | £75,000 - £80,000 | City of London | 4:1 Hybrid Working
A rare opportunity to join a multi-billion turnover, PE-backed business at real pace, supporting at the very top table.
This is a newly-shaped EA role sitting at the heart of a global business with operations across the UK, Europe and Asia. Following a recent restructure, the EA function has been streamlined to a tight team of three, and this role sits closest to the centre of gravity - working directly with the CFO and Group Counsel, with oversight of support to the Group CEO.
You'll be the calm in the eye of the storm: two exceptionally busy diaries, a fast-moving commercial agenda, and regular engagement with external stakeholders including private equity partners. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be told what to do - it's for a proactive operator who anticipates the next move before being asked, gets rooms and materials ready without prompting, and takes genuine ownership of the workload.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing highly complex, fast-paced diaries and making real-time decisions on behalf of senior leaders
- Coordinating board and Group reporting, minutes and follow-up actions
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper for correspondence, enquiries and stakeholder relationships
- Preparing polished presentations and reports for Board and external stakeholder audiences
- Organising travel, events and Executive Committee off-sites
- Line managing and supporting fellow EAs to ensure seamless cover across the leadership team
- Being the first, professional point of contact for senior visitors and external partners
- Line manager to two other EA's
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an EA to Board-level or C-suite Executives, ideally supporting more than one principal
- A true chameleon: composed, personable and adaptable, equally comfortable with senior stakeholders and rolling up your sleeves
- High energy with genuine start-up/consultancy pace, not a process-heavy corporate style
- A relationship builder who is firm but fair, and not afraid to take the reins
- Polished and credible enough to represent the business with external PE partners and stakeholders
- Someone who thrives in an open, down-to-earth, non-hierarchical culture where everyone pitches in
This is a business that has moved from public to PE ownership, bringing a leaner, more entrepreneurial energy while retaining a genuinely collaborative, no-ego culture.
