Temporary Event Coordinator– Global Research and Advisory Firm

Starting ASAP until end of December 2026

Remote with 1 day a week in the Surrey Office every week

8:30 – 5:00 pm

£18.48/hour + holiday pay

This is a registration-focused events operations role, not an end-to-end event planning position.

The role involves regular international travel to support onsite conferences across 2026, so candidates must hold a valid passport and have full flexibility to travel.

 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised Event Registration Coordinator to support the operational delivery of large-scale virtual and onsite conferences.

This role focuses on event registration setup, management, and live execution support, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees across global events.

You will join a fast-paced international events function delivering high-volume conferences across multiple regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and managing event registration systems and workflows
  • Supporting the operational delivery of virtual conferences (Zoom / Webex)
  • Ensuring accurate attendee registration, data, and access management
  • Providing day-of registration and execution support for virtual and onsite events
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery
  • Supporting onsite registration operations at international conferences
  • Identifying opportunities to improve registration processes and efficiency
  • Supporting wider virtual event operations as required

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ professional experience
  • Experience supporting virtual or onsite conference registration / event operations
  • Bachelor’s degree (essential)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Zoom or Webex desirable

 

 Candidates must be able to travel without visa restrictions to the following locations and dates:

  • June 8–11: London
  • June 21–24: Germany
  • September: Sweden, Germany, France
  • October: London, Italy, Middle East
  • November: London
  • December: Germany, London, France
