Job Description

Our client is offering a unique opportunity to join a discreet, design-led private office, supporting an influential individual deeply engaged in the arts and creative industries. The role blends high-level executive support with hands-on involvement in cultural initiatives, operations, social media, and communications with institutions, partners, and press. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-versed in the arts landscape, and confident navigating the regional creative sector with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support & Office Operations

    • Provide high-level assistance including diary management, international travel coordination, and meeting preparation.

    • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Principal’s calendar, communications, and private office requirements.

    • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times in managing sensitive information.

  • Cultural & Institutional Engagement

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for creative and cultural stakeholders, including artists, curators, institutions, and galleries.

    • Coordinate participation in exhibitions, panel talks, and collaborative initiatives with leading regional and international arts platforms.

    • Remain informed about upcoming art, design, and cultural events relevant to the Principal’s interests and commitments.

    Project & Event Coordination

    • Assist in the planning and delivery of bespoke events.

    • Liaise with venues, suppliers, and key guests to ensure seamless execution, while tracking schedules, budgets, and requirements.

    • Provide support during site visits, installations, and art-related travel.

    Media & Strategic Communications

    • Draft and edit communication materials, bios, talking points, and visual briefs in collaboration with external PR agencies where necessary.

    • Handle press coordination, content approvals, and post-event media follow-up.

    • Maintain an archive of coverage and communications history.

    Digital Presence & Content Oversight

    • Support the Principal’s social media channels with curated content that aligns with their voice, interests, and aesthetic.

    • Monitor engagement, suggest improvements, and maintain an up-to-date content calendar.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting senior-level individuals in arts, design, or media-related environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Communications, Media, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
  • Prior work with institutions such as Abu Dhabi Art, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai Design Week, or comparable is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in digital communications, social media, and content coordination.

  • Familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Notion, and basic design/photo editing platforms.
