Family Office Finance Manager/ Director
Location – Dubai
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 AED per month
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage the full scope of financial, tax, legal, governance, and administrative functions within a single-principal family office. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to the Shareholders and CEO, providing strategic financial oversight while ensuring regulatory compliance, wealth preservation, and efficient management across both corporate entities and personal structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Oversee the full finance function across multiple entities.
- Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely statutory filings.
- Deliver monthly reporting, including management accounts, budget vs. actuals, cash flow, and asset performance.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Manage treasury activities, including banking relationships, liquidity planning, and working capital.
- Monitor funding requirements and overall liquidity across entities.
Personal & Shareholder Support
- Provide confidential support on personal financial matters.
- Prepare regular reporting on expenses, liquidity, and funding requirements.
- Coordinate banking, investment, and administrative matters.
- Support long-term financial planning and structuring initiatives.
Tax Strategy & Compliance
- Oversee tax compliance across relevant jurisdictions, including filings and payments.
- Coordinate with external advisors on corporate and personal tax matters.
- Support tax planning initiatives to optimise overall tax position within legal frameworks.
- Ensure accurate and timely submissions and maintain proper documentation.
Legal Governance & Compliance
- Manage company formations, restructurings, and corporate records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate governance documentation, including resolutions and records.
- Manage relationships with external advisors and service providers.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks.
HR & Administrative Oversight
- Oversee payroll, employee benefits, and compliance with employment regulations.
- Manage end-of-service processes and related documentation.
- Support administrative operations and ensure alignment with budgets and policies.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Professionally qualified (CPA, ACCA, or CA), with Big 4 training preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in finance, ideally within private wealth or family office environments.
- Solid understanding of cross-border tax matters, with exposure to U.S. tax considered advantageous.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
