A well-established and successful trade and manufacturing business in Dubai is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support the continued growth of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a commercially minded finance professional with strong Gulf experience, audit expertise and banking relationships, who is confident managing a finance team and working closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a finance team of 7+ employees, ensuring effective performance and development.
• Oversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Manage and successfully close annual audits, working closely with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines and financing arrangements to support the business.
• Provide senior management with accurate financial analysis, reporting and commercial insight.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and governance across the business.
• Support the commercial operations of the trading and manufacturing divisions.

The Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of overall finance experience within the Gulf region, including significant UAE experience.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or leading a small team of Trade Accountants.
• Finance exposure from within trading or manufacturing businesses.
• Strong track record in audit management and closing annual audits.
• Demonstrable experience negotiating with banks and securing banking facilities and credit lines.
• Chartered Accountant or similar qualification is a distinct advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness, leadership skills and the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders, auditors and banking partners.
