Overview
We are looking for a commercially-minded Financial Controller to join a fast-growing Professional Services business.

This is a hands-on role for a proactive finance professional who thrives on responsibility, impact, and driving performance. You’ll take ownership of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance monitoring, while improving processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement company budgets across divisions and monitor performance against targets.
• Deliver management accounts, dashboards, and financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Engage with budget holders to explain variances and drive efficiency across cost and revenue lines.
• Review and enhance financial and operational processes, systems, and workflows.
• Lead resource planning, recruitment, and departmental optimisation.
• Support commercial activities including T&Cs, licence agreements, landlord negotiations, and growth/acquisition modelling.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ experience in finance, budgeting, or financial management.
• Hands-on experience with reporting, forecasting, and budget preparation.
• Proven track record in business transformation, process improvement, or system implementation.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive efficiency opportunities.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• NetSuite experience highly desirable.
