My client, a highly regarded global investment bank, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and enthusiastic Float Team Assistant / EA to join their fast-paced and high-performing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and driven assistant who thrives in a demanding corporate environment and can confidently manage a substantial workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
The role will involve providing seamless support across a range of seniority levels, including Partners, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and Analysts. Due to the pace and complexity of the position, candidates must be able to hit the ground running and demonstrate extensive experience managing busy teams, complex diaries, and international travel arrangements.
Please note, this position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting large teams, with at least 2 years gained within financial services.
This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls, including screening, directing, and taking accurate messages
- Coordinating meetings and conference calls while maintaining up-to-date banker contact lists
- Complex diary and calendar management for multiple senior stakeholders
- Organising extensive travel arrangements, including multi-leg international travel, visas, accommodation, transport, cash advances, and detailed itineraries
- Preparing and submitting travel and entertainment expenses accurately and in line with company policy
- Building strong working relationships and communicating professionally with colleagues at all levels
- Providing general administrative support, including filing, archiving, copying, and document management
- Supporting a collaborative, team-focused environment by assisting colleagues and sharing responsibilities within the wider assistant group
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and additional tasks as required
WHO YOU ARE:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Team Assistant supporting busy teams within a fast-paced corporate environment is essential
- Candidates with solely 1:1 or 1:2 support experience will not be considered
- At least 2 years’ experience within Banking or Financial Services is highly advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a highly professional approach
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a strong sense of ownership
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional support and making a positive impact on the team
- Someone who naturally thinks ahead, anticipates needs, and consistently goes above and beyond
