This is an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Receptionist to join a prestigious Mayfair based investment firm. There you will be the first face and impression for every client, VIP and visitor from the moment they walk through the door. My client is looking for an experienced, polished and proactive Receptionist to join a fast-paced London office at the heart of a global business. What you’ll do;
- Welcoming clients, guests and VIPs with warmth and professionalism
- Organsing meeting room bookings, juggling timing, capacity, AV needs and last-minute changes with ease
- Coordinating catering, room set-ups and presentation standards alongside the housekeeping team
- Managing a busy switchboard and handling every call like it's the most important one of the day
- Supporting video conferencing and liaising with IT to iron out any glitches
- Booking couriers, taxis, and keeping the office stocked and running smoothly
- Hosting overseas visitors, arranging building passes and making sure every guest feels looked after
- Playing a key role in fire safety and first aid as a trained Fire Marshal/First Aider
- Getting involved in the wider life of the office, from supplier relationships to supporting the EA team
What you need;
- 3+ years' front of house experience, ideally within financial services or another blue-chip environment
- A track record of meeting and greeting high-profile clients and VIPs
- Immaculate presentation, impeccable communication, and a genuinely positive, can-do attitude
- Sharp organisational skills and the calm needed to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Confidence coordinating across global time zones
- Strong Microsoft Office skills across Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Discretion, excellent judgement and working with a solution orientated approach is essential
