We are seeking a HR professional who is confident working autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of core HR practices and responsibilities, bringing both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. This role requires someone who is people-oriented, skilled at building trust at all levels and able to lead by example. You will help set clear expectations and support a culture of accountability and high performance. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead employee engagement, wellbeing and culture strategy.
• Serve as HR lead and partner to the CEO and leadership team.
• Provide people insights and reporting to leadership and the board.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, supporting engagement and performance.
• Confident in handling complex cases independently, providing practical HR advice and support.
• Lead and evolve the global people strategy to support growth and performance.
• Drive HR operations, systems and policies ensuring compliance and commercial alignment.
• Handle payroll processes with external providers ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee recruitment and support workforce planning through hiring strategy. 

What you’ll need:                             

• Substantial HR experience, ideally within retail or similarly fast-paced environments.
• Proven experience in a senior HR or Head of People role.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
• Strong communicator, confident in building relationships and providing constructive input.
• Experience across performance management and employee engagement.
• Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Resilient and highly organised, able to work autonomously with strong ownership.
• Experience using HR systems/platforms.
