We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Infrastructure, Mining & Maintenance to lead the operations of cryptocurrency mining facilities. This pivotal role ensures optimal uptime, maximized hash rate performance, and efficient maintenance processes while managing contractors. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, maintain infrastructure reliability, and support growth in the cryptocurrency mining industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of cryptocurrency mining facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

• Monitor and analyze uptime, hash rate, and overall performance to promptly identify and resolve issues.

• Implement strategies to maximize mining efficiency and profitability.

• Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance plans for all mining equipment and infrastructure.

• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.

• Optimize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

• Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality work within timelines and budgets.

• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to achieve best value.

• Conduct regular performance reviews of contractors and vendors.

• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure and operational efficiency, including power usage, cooling systems, and hardware configurations.

• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to implement upgrades and innovations.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Prepare regular reports on site performance, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.

• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in managing infrastructure, mining, or maintenance operations, ideally within cryptocurrency or data center environments.

• Strong technical expertise with ASIC miners, GPUs, and other mining hardware.

• Familiarity with power management and cooling systems.

• Knowledge of blockchain technology and mining algorithms is a plus.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
